E101 MAGAZINE BUDGETS N3 MILLION FOR FACE OF VALENTINE

In 2011, they presented Entertainment Man of the Year Award to Governor Godswill Akpabio (CON), in 2012, the magazine hosted a birthday bash for the Secretary to Akwa Ibom state government, Obong Umana Okon Umana, and they also made history by putting together the first ever novelty football match between entertainers and media personalities in Akwa Ibom state, during the Silver Jubilee Anniversary celebrations, winning 2 awards in the same year in Uyo and Lagos.
In as much as there are a thousand and one Valentine contests nationwide, this maiden edition by E-101 and in conjunction with Kardynal Kommunicationz is quoted to be low key, the E-101 Magazine Face of Valentine will gulp a token N3 million in cash and kind from the award winning South-South’s entertainment revolution magazine.
As at when this report was filled, the event is already the talk of the town, on blogs, TV, radio and newspapers, having contestants registering from different parts of the country, the winner of the coveted crown is to go home with a brand new laptop, 1 year Modelling Contract, Fashion Accessories, cash prize and 1 year hair do/ cosmetic allowance, while the 1st runner up will be smiling home with an Amaecom Refrigerator & cash prize, the 2nd runner up will grab a Blackberry phone and cash prize too.
Asides supporting the modeling and fashion sub-sectors of the entertainment industry; the E-101 Magazine Face of Valentine is in search of a worthy damsel to represent the magazine’s brand and to champion the corporate social responsibility projects that the magazine will embark upon in 2013, with the theme ' rekindling the spirit of charity'.
The event will hold in Uyo on Valentines Eve, Wednesday, February 13th at the popular celebrity hangout and multipurpose event center 2nd Baze, the likes of Mista Xto, Fadabasi, Eyo Eminue of MTN Project Fame, Brandiny,Flexzy of Nigeria's Got Talent, Indegenous Maliq and a host of others will make special appearances.
