Bodies Dumped in River Appear to Have Been Bound and Shot in the Head

Filming in silence, a cameraman slowly walked the banks of the Quiq River in a suburb of Aleppo, documenting a grisly discovery: 50 bloated and pallid bodies, most of them men, with their wrists and ankles bound. Many appeared to be shot in the head. Activists said at least 65 bodies were found in all, but estimated the number could rise to more than 80. "Kids, they are kids," the cameraman said, before breaking into a run down the muddy banks. "A sniper is firing at us! God is great!"
