Africa's biggest reality show, the Big Brother Africa show has entered
its eighth edition this year. The show, according to information
available at our disposal, is billed to kick off on Sunday, May 26,
2013. The search for housemates to compete for the competition's
grand prize, $300,000 has now begun. Forms will be available for
prospective housemates to get from the participating countries.
The
forms would be available from February 1 to February 14. In this year's
edition, Liberia was replaced with Ethiopia. The producers of the show
said that the reason was to include other countries in the competition
in line with their rotation policies.
The other 13 participating
countries are Angola, Botswana, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria,
Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The
competition is opened to persons over age 21, with valid passports,
fluent in English language, entertaining and passionate about the show.
Goldie, Chris and Ola represented Nigeria in the last edition while
Kelvin Pam, Uti Nwachukwu and Karen Igho won the 2009, 2010 and 2011
editions of the Big Brother Africa shows respectively.
How to become a housemate
STEP 1: Verify that you are 21 years or older, since you need to be to enter Big Brother Africa
STEP 2: Verify that you are a legal citizen of one of the following participating countries:

STEP 3: Reveal your Big Brother Africa personality to impress us, fill in and submit your completed application form.
